I work where operations, technology, and people collide. At Bank of America, I lead automation of manual operational processes end to end — from requirements with the team doing the work, through build and handoff, to sustained ownership — while supporting enterprise AI integration and training. Before that, I owned the Insurance & Annuities product platform for Merrill, including e-signature modernization across 12 annuity carriers inside a large-scale SAFe environment. The common thread is translating competing priorities across compliance, operations, and engineering without formal authority over any of them.

Before financial services, I spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy as an EOD officer, Deep Sea Diver, and Special Operations leader — regularly advancing objectives through coalition forces and interagency organizations where the authority to compel was rarely available and the ability to build alignment was everything. The domain changed when I retired. The discipline didn't. Most product leaders learned stakeholder alignment in conference rooms. I learned it in places where getting it wrong wasn't an option.

I'm a Microsoft Copilot Champion at BofA and now support the bank's AI integration and training efforts directly — advancing adoption inside an institution still building the governance infrastructure around it. That work feeds my DBA research at UF's Warrington College of Business on AI governance in large U.S. financial institutions. Technology is rarely the hard part. Adoption, trust, and governance are — and that's where I work.
